Emerging Player Pathway

The purpose of the Emerging Player Pathway (EPP) is to develop basic foundations of future performance through an individualised programme and to confirm potential to be transitioned to first class academy programmes.

The Emerging Player Programme (EPP) is designed for the exceptionally talented cricketers within our County Age Group system and supports the holistic development of our high potential players. It is a fluid, personalised programme which develops players’ technical, tactical, physical, mental, lifestyle and leadership abilities.

Players will be invited onto the programme by Lincolnshire’s Head Coach, Eddie Burke.

Those players are invited to extra training sessions which focus on areas of performance such as technical, tactical, physical, mental & lifestyle. Players will also have access to specialist areas such as strength & conditioning, psychology & nutrition, largely through our partners at First Class Counties and the University of Lincoln.
