Lincs 1st Team Women’s XI
Lincolnshire’s Women’s 1st XI plays in the ECB competitions at Tier 3 in the domestic county structure introduced in 2025 which features all counties across England & Wales in a tiered format.
This structure is designed to provide the next generation of female players an opportunity to aspire, achieve and succeed, with a clear pathway to the top of the women’s game and Lincolnshire are delighted to compete in Tier 3 against teams from Cumbria, Herefordshire, Norfolk, Northumberland, and Shropshire in T20 and one day cricket. In addition there is the opportunity to compete in an “FA Cup” style national knockout competition.
To achieve success in this space we need to make sure we provide our nominated players with an enhanced experience to develop their skills. Our nominated players will receive a minimum 6-week pre-season training, observation and selection programme led by our experienced pathway coaches under the leadership of head coach, Martyn Hill. Those selected will receive a match day kit bundle, away game travel expenses, accommodation (where necessary) and a chance to play in this exciting new era of domestic women’s county cricket.
If you are up for the challenge and wish to be considered for observation please fill in the nomination form here. Any female player over the age of 18 with experience playing and performing within 11-a-side cricket environments are invited to put their name forwards for training observations.
