School activities

We run a number of softball KS1 & LKS2 Skills Festivals and UKS2 Countdown Cricket Competitions for state schools throughout the spring and summer months in the county in partnership with the School Games Organisers across Lincolnshire and the Humber.

The Skills Festivals focus on the development of a child’s physical skills, life skills, personal best and School Games values. Indeed the School Games values can be used to focus on the learning opportunities and not just the result.

Countdown cricket competitions for UKS2 pupils have been designed to be inclusive, with easy adaptions that will help meet the needs of every pupil. There are multiple regional preliminary competition days prior to and concluding with the County Finals Days at which children have the opportunity to compete against other primary schools from around Lincolnshire in an attempt to be crowned County Champions!

We aim to run County Final Competitions for Y4/5/6 Girls, Y5 Mixed & Y6 Mixed.
