County Age Groups

Our County Age Group (CAG) system consists of four boys’ teams and four girls’ teams. Each squad has the opportunity to train intensively throughout the autumn and winter months through Squad sessions and specialist sessions.

We provide many hours of contact time for our CAG players with our highly-qualified and knowledgeable coaching team each close season, as well as opportunities to play against other counties (and even some countries!) in friendly or ECB competition matches during the summer.

BOYS CRICKET:  U13 / U14 / U16 / U18

GIRLS CRICKET: U13 / U14 / U16 / U18

We welcome nominations from club coaches during the nomination window in July and August (dates vary on an annual basis). Clubs will receive an email inviting them to nominate their promising players in the relevant age groups.

Following receipt of nominations, nominees will be observed at sessions by representatives from our coaching team in August or September. Players will be invited to the observation sessions by email from Lincolnshire Cricket.

County Age Group squads will be selected as a result of the observation sessions and will be confirmed by email before indoor training begins.

Fixtures are arranged against other counties or suitable opposition, and the list of fixtures will be on our Play Cricket site when available.
