Early Engagement Programme

Lincolnshire offers young players access to high-quality opportunities through the ECB’s Early Engagement Programme (EEP) for boys and girls at U10, U11, and U12s in the county.

This programme includes quality coaching and match-play opportunities, both in winter and summer. The players benefit from high quality coaching, using the same standards of coaching as the County Age Group programme, but with wider access allowing more children to benefit from the early stages of the coaching and player development pathway.

The programme provides a 12 week indoor training programme in addition to summer training and playing opportunities and will cost £100 per player for the whole programme and will start in January each year.

Nominations by club coaches for players in school years 5, 6 and 7 are accepted during a limited nomination window. The closing date for nominations for players to be accepted onto the January 2027 has now closed.
