Women & Girls

Cricket is one of the few sports in which women and girls can play both in female only and mixed gender formats. In Lincolnshire we want to transform the women and girls’ cricket and provide an opportunity for every household in Lincolnshire to connect to cricket.

In the recreational game we have a growing network of clubs, schools, and other programmes to support the growth of the female game of cricket. As a sport it offers numerous opportunities for women and girls not only as players, but also coaches, umpires, and scorers to name only a few roles in cricket. Our player pathway caters to all skills levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals through a variety of playing formats. With a variety of playing formats available, we at Lincolnshire Cricket are confident that we can find the right game for your, whatever your age, ability or experience level. Women and Girls’ Competitions 

In Lincolnshire, we have continued to grow our playing opportunities for women and girls, with significant potential for further expansion in the years ahead. The Lincolnshire Women Cricket League is well established, providing clubs with structured and competitive cricket opportunities across the county.  To find out more information about our Lincolnshire women’s cricket league structures please click here. 

We’re looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join the Lincolnshire Women’s Cricket League Committee and help shape the future of the game in our county. This is a fantastic opportunity and if you’d like to get involved or find out more please view the role descriptions here.

We also have a partnership with the East Midlands Women’s Cricket League, and are keen to support more clubs in the county to develop and grow their women’s sections, enabling them to take part in the various playing formats they can provide. Girls’ Festivals 

The Magnavale Girls Festivals are exciting events that encourage girls to enjoy the game while having fun. The aim of the festivals are to provide a fun, safe and inclusive space for girls to develop their cricket skills and feel confidence in the game.
