We work with ECB, Sport England and a number of different partners to support cricket clubs in Lincolnshire so the game can grow in local communities.
ECB’s COUNTY GRANT FUND
The County Grant Fund for 2026 is now open (it opens in February each year) and clubs can make applications through the ECB’s Investment Management System (IMS) – Login

FACILITIES – LINCOLNSHIRE CRICKET’S FACILITIES STRATEGY 2023-2032
The strategy (a copy of which can be downloaded here) outlines plans across a number of key focus areas for the game in Lincolnshire, including the continued support of traditional clubs, developing non-traditional offers to grow participation and engagement & improving school facilities to help service the game. The strategy has been developed after consultation with local stakeholders, partners, clubs, the ECB and Lincolnshire Cricket’s Board of Directors.
The strategy will be reviewed annually and will evolve over the next 10 years to ensure it remains relevant for the wants and needs of the game in Lincolnshire.
The Facilities Strategy highlights a need to develop a centrally located performance hub within Lincolnshire to ensure the performance pathway is accessible to those within our county. The growth in participation in cricket in the county has placed pressure on existing facilities already struggling to meet demand and as a result, Lincolnshire Cricket has worked with partners to identify an opportunity to take over the lease of the Sobraon Barracks Cricket Ground, which has become the new home of Lincolnshire Cricket. The Development Plan available here, gives the background to the ground, and outlines plans for continued use of the site as a cricket ground.
