Table Cricket Finals – coming soon

It’s almost that time of year again, when we look forward to 3 consecutive days of Lord’s Taverners Table Cricket County Finals. This year they are taking place on Monday 9th Feb, and Tuesday 10th Feb at the Meridian Leisure Centre, Louth, and on Wednesday 11th Feb at The Meres, Grantham. Currently we have 27 teams being represented across 20 schools & colleges, with a few more still to confirm.

Table cricket is an adapted version of cricket that is played on a table tennis table with teams of six taking it in turn to bowl or bat. The game has been specially designed to give young people with a disability the chance to play and compete in the sport we all love.

As ever, these events are hugely supported by the SEN network of schools & colleges across Greater Lincolnshire, following the great work delivering in the first 3 terms of this academic year, by our Disability Development Officer, Community Coaches & Belvoir Education and Sport Trust.
